Head Chef – The Florence, Birmingham

We’re currently on the lookout for a brand new Head Chef for our most Central Birmingham pub called The Florence. The pub & bar is a real stunner, and offers a really good standard of fresh and seasonal food. The successful Head Chef will have a really good work/life balance as the shifts here will be primarily during the day and also during the week, with the kitchen closed on Sunday’s.

The Florence is one of 5 ventures that Mosaic Pub and Dining operate in Birmingham, and this one is the most central, being not far at all from the City Centre and a short walk from the main train stations. The food is all fresh and seasonal, and there is an opportunity for the perfect chef to come in and alter things like specials, being somewhat autonomous within their role as Head Chef.

As mentioned, the work-life balance here will be amazing, the successful person will work no longer than 48 hours a week, with most of those hours coming within the week and during the day. The salary is good too, with a package totalling around £32k available here.
